As CEO of the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) I'm regularly inspired and
fascinated by incredible young women.
There are the engineers Felicity Furey and Jillian Kenny, who are flipping traditional
maths textbooks on their head to engage the next generation of girls in science,
technology, engineering and maths careers. There is Marita Cheng, who is
currently in the United States with the top 40 young tech innovators in the world in
